MGI Editions is committed to correcting material errors and making the basis of its financial analysis transparent.
Before publication
Dates, percentages, market moves, company figures, and policy statements are checked against primary or otherwise authoritative sources. When figures use different definitions or reporting periods, the distinction should be stated.
Source hierarchy
- Official government releases, regulatory filings, and audited company disclosures.
- Central-bank publications, recognized statistical databases, and company transcripts.
- Reputable news organizations and specialist research used for context.
Corrections
When a material factual error is confirmed, we update the article promptly. A correction note should be added when the change could alter a reader’s understanding. Minor spelling, grammar, formatting, and broken-link repairs may be made without a formal note.
Updates versus corrections
An update adds newly available information. A correction fixes information that was inaccurate when published. Analysis may also be clarified when wording could reasonably mislead readers.
Report an issue
Readers may report a suspected error through the comment section of the relevant article. Please identify the statement, explain the concern, and include a supporting primary source when possible.
